Food! Food! Food!

One could think first and maybe imagine if there’s anything like that actually, but the problem afterwards is, making most of it a reality. I could dream or think for a whole day about what it is I saw on television, the internet or even an advert or poster on the road or anywhere.; the beautiful look of food and its remarkable view.

Don’t get me wrong but, it is believable to say we all eat with our eyes way before we eventually drop the cutlery after the last scoop. It has dawned on me that adverts are never what they seem in real life, they are all just means into luring the appeal of any customer, gullible or not, either way, the end justifies the means. Take for instance, the fast food joints, whether or not it is believable or not you could never get what is seen exactly on television, probably because most of the items actually used aren’t even real. Funny enough I still end up dreaming, be it any type of food because in the end, the end product is the main center of attraction.

The mixtures of colours, the combination of spices could get to anyone if you in one way or the other admire the piece of art. Take us Nigerians into consideration; you’d discover that rice is everywhere; I mean everyone eats rice or at least has had a taste or feel of it. It can be made and utilized in different ways. I could even take it back to as far as our cultural background, to foods of our native homes.

It is good now that nowadays, not everyone but a few are used to food of the western culture. Yes, the westerners didn’t end up totally colonizing that part,  they succeeded just a little bit in that area. We are Nigerians, if the food is not in another man’s land we’ll bring it there no matter the means or cost. In a country as far as UK, there are  presently markets and restaurants selling Nigerian and local dishes.

Almost everything could be intertwined in relation to life, even something like food. You are indeed what you eat. And in the absence of fear there will always be great achievements.

So combine the spices and raw ingredients, the first time might not taste so great, the second not good too, and the third or even the fourth but after that, you never know if the next might be better than the former. So you fall and rise again and if you fail to do that, and I mean rise again, then you’ve not succeeded in succeeding.
