We forget to remember, to remember it is fitful
Meticulously treating it in the vein of being fruitful
Wanted by all at the expense of ourselves and the world
Merely seeing the fact in inner beauty and the Word
But why, why is our flesh considered more vital than our hearts?
Polishing our nails more gorgeously than our hearts,
Disregarding that our hearts forever determine our irrevocable destination
Taking solidity in our appearance rather than who we really are
Using the outer shell of individuals to classify them is the new normal
Those who are more anxious of broadening their horizon
and not embroidering their clothes, are said to be bizarre
Impacting on others by fixing our hair and not our hearts, we say
But, God cannot be deceived by looks like man is
Youthful beauty, appearing more blissful than every other thing
Hasn’t and can it ever lead to pleasurable eternity
Forever our inner shell overshadows the outer shell
Believe; believe today that the ephemeral nature of youthful beauty is undying!
